Meet Rooney! He is a 1.5 year old spaniel mix weighing 13 lbs. This little guy looks like a permanent puppy and is often mistaken for a baby Golden Retriever. He is the perfect lap dog! Rooney loves people and snuggling. Rooney just wants to be loved by people all day long. He will even sleep in your arms! He is fully house trained and very well behaved in the house (doesn't chew or get into things). Rooney would make the perfect companion to someone that is looking for a little, low maintenance lap dog. Most of the day he sleeps and occasionally plays with his toys. He likes to play fetch and loves bonding with humans. He requires very minimal potty breaks. Even when let out multiple times a day he only goes 2 sometimes 3 times a day.

Rooney is perfect for a family or person who does not have any small children or other pets in the family or immediate area. He does not like other dogs, especially when he is on a leash. Rooney does slowly get used to other dogs if he must be near them but initially will lash out.  For that reason, Rooney can only go to a household without any other pets. That means all the attention is on him, which is just how he wants it!

Rooney is neutered and up to date on all vaccines and boosters! He is also micro-chipped. Please give this little guy the loving home he deserves.
