UPDATE: Jasmine can't believe she still hasn't found that forever home, and can't wait to find that perfect person or family to love and snuggle her to her hearts content! Over spring break with her foster mom, Jasmine had all kinds of new experiences!! She did amazing on her 5 hour car ride, snuggled with her new dog friends, got to swim in the Chesapeake bay (which she absolutely loved!!), and even got to meet some baby goats! This girl definitely still has her puppy energy, but when she settles in, is an absolute love! Her house breaking and basic commands are coming along great and she continues to learn more every day! Jasmine does great off leash and and is just loving life as a happy puppy! She is currently still on her phenobarbital and is doing great on that medication. She had a check up last week where everything looked great and she will remain on her medication for the time being. Since starting the phenobarbital Jasmine still has not had any seizures, and in meeting this beautiful girl, you would never know that was a part of her history, and we hope to keep it that way! We promise, if you meet her she will steal your heart forever!

This precious girl is Jasmine! She is incredibly playful and great with other dogs! She is super interested in cats too, but sometimes they don't share the same enthusiasm. Her favorite activity is definitely fetch, and discovering squeaky toys has been the highlight of her weekend in foster care. Jasmine is only 8 months old, and came to us from West Virginia where she was surrendered by her owners to a local shelter. Unfortunately mom and dad could not afford her seizure medication. Yes, this pretty girl does unfortunately suffer from seizures but she has been started on medication and they are being managed! She is also currently being treated for Lyme Disease, but this treatment is not lifelong.
