3/20/18 UPDATE: Clementine is still in need of that forever family to love her as much as we do! Clementine has learned so much from her foster family over the past couple of months but is ready for that final home! She is still a little nervous when meeting new people, but warms ups pretty quickly! She loves learning new tricks and is extremely fast at picking up on things. Clementine has decided the home life style is the life for her and has become attached to her people, following them room to room! She would make for such a loving companion! She’s doing very well with her crate training and goes in by herself now just with the cue of picking up your car keys. She does require an introduction to other dogs but can warm up to them and is learning how to play! Her and one of our other pups, Jasmine, just loved to wrestle! She tends to be a little apprehensive when there is food around, but when that high value thing is removed, she is an incredibly playful girl!

01/05/18: Clementine is loving life as a pampered pooch! She has tons of friends now, people and animals, and is really opening up and becoming a house dog. Her likes include: pets, snuggles, couches, anything edible, Nylabones, de-stuffing soft toys, and of course, belly rubs. Her dislikes include being left alone outside (in the fenced yard) for longer than a minute and when the other dogs get too close to her when she has something she’s afraid they’ll take. She’s slowly learning not to be as nervous with food/chew toys/bones around other dogs, and has just started to enjoy playing tug and fetch with the other dogs! She now has a few best-dog-friends that she loves to romp around with and she’s still doing great with the cats as well!

We expect Clem to still be a little nervous when meeting new people and animals, but she’s so much faster at warming up now and seems to love everyone! Clem is getting much better at housebreaking/crate training, and even likes when her foster mom leaves the crate door open so she can curl up and sleep in there whenever she wants! Clementine is about 28lbs, 3 years old, and we’re calling her a beagle/heeler mix based on her looks and occasional howls.

Please read through our adoption policies and requirements prior to requesting an application:

We require all animals in the household to be up to date on core vaccines. Dogs must be vaccinated against rabies, canine distemper, and bordetella. Cats must be vaccinated against rabies and feline distemper.

All of our animals are in foster homes. We will schedule meet and greets after approving your adoption application to ensure our fosters are only meeting with serious applicants.
