Clementine is loving life as a pampered pooch! She has tons of friends now, people and animals, and is really opening up and becoming a house dog. Her likes include: pets, snuggles, couches, anything edible, Nylabones, de-stuffing soft toys, and of course, belly rubs. Her dislikes include being left alone outside (in the fenced yard) for longer than a minute and when the other dogs get too close to her when she has something she’s afraid they’ll take. She’s slowly learning not to be as nervous with food/chew toys/bones around other dogs, and has just started to enjoy playing tug and fetch with the other dogs! She now has a few best-dog-friends that she loves to romp around with and she’s still doing great with the cats as well!

We expect Clem to still be a little nervous when meeting new people and animals, but she’s so much faster at warming up now and seems to love everyone! Clem is getting much better at housebreaking/crate training, and even likes when her foster mom leaves the crate door open so she can curl up and sleep in there whenever she wants! Clementine is about 28lbs, 3 years old, and we’re calling her a beagle/heeler mix based on her looks and occasional howls. She still needs a little time before she can be spayed, but we’re accepting applications for her now!
